Moroa-Thebe School: Is named after Bantwane Chief (Moroa-Thebe Mathebe), since the school is under Moutse, Dennilton, and Malaeneng. The chief is the custodian of land, therefore, honoured for the great leadership, for future tribute and shared history.
Bantwane people are Tswana by tribe. Originally from Botswana-Bakwena ba Kgoshi Sechele: Tsekedi, Mothibedi, Kgama, Motlhamme, Makitle and etc.
The language is influenced by Sepedi due to demarcation challenges and learning N. Sotho through formal education, with no choice to their language (Setswana), these remain a huge concern till the current date of democracy.
The school started in 1969 under the leadership of principal Maredi B.L in a Roman Catholic Church Building.
